Katie brings to A.M. Associates over 14 years of experience in the Property/Casualty insurance industry, including but not limited to her work as an underwriter for a multinational firm. Katie joined A.M. Associates in 2016 and became the Audit Coordinator in 2018.
When Barbara joined the editorial team at A.M. Associates in 2009, she had 25 years of experience as a writer and editor, along with a history of entrepreneurship, most recently as the owner/creator of a clothing and gift-product business. Barbara has held progressively more senior positions over her years with A.M. Associates and became the director in late 2015.

During that time, she has been involved in primary, reinsurance and run-off business from a front-line underwriting perspective to various senior management roles. Lyle Beaman has over 30 years’ experience in the Property/Casualty insurance industry in Canada, the United States and the UK. He has a background that spans claims and property/casualty underwriting both on the front lines and in a progressive series of senior management leadership roles for several multinational insurance companies. Lyle is bilingual in French and English.
Neil Bishop has over 30 years of experience in the Canadian Property/Casualty industry. He has held progressively senior front-line, management and executive roles with both national insurers and smaller regional companies. His expertise spans the areas of commercial and personal underwriting, claims, marketing, loss control and training.
Len began his work life as a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police before making the leap into the insurance industry. His 30-plus years of experience in claims and underwriting span positions from underwriter to manager across a diverse portfolio.
Barry brings to A.M. Associates over 30 years of experience in property and casualty underwriting. His background ranges from supervising new product marketing, to specializing in loss control, to working as an underwriting manager in charge of a large division. Barry is bilingual in French and English.
Tracey Goddard has over 20 years of experience in Insurance, Reinsurance & Retrocession underwriting life and critical illness in the Canadian, American, European and Asia-Pacific markets. In progressively more senior positions throughout her career, Tracey has participated in audits and treaty negotiations, and provided expert opinion on contestable claims.
Robert has over 40 years of experience in the Canadian Property/Casualty industry. He has held progressively senior front-line, management and executive roles with various national insurers in both Ontario and Quebec and with retail insurance brokers. Robert is bilingual in French and English.
In 2003, Allison left her job as an executive of a Canadian insurance firm to launch A.M. Associates Insurance Services Ltd. The small Canadian auditing firm steadily grew over the years from a team of one (Allison) to a team of more than ten auditors and three administrators. While the business has changed ownership twice since 2010, Allison remains involved in both underwriting and claims audits. Allison is bilingual in French and English.
Janice brings to A.M. Associates 30-plus years in insurance and reinsurance claims management. She has held senior managerial and executive positions, and has been tasked with coaching claims teams, examining complex property and recovery claims, and establishing claims audit and quality assurance programs.
Walter has over 35 years in a career in Property & Casualty Insurance Claims, including roles with several Canadian reinsurers. His career includes extensive audit programs with Canadian, US and Caribbean insurers, and involvement in many of major Canadian catastrophes such as the Quebec Ice Storm and the Fort McMurray Forest Fire.
